Roger Johnson
The son of a teenage mother, I went to jail for armed robbery at the age of 18 as did my father before me.
Since my release in 2001, I’ve been graced to purchase a home, build a successful business, and be an active father to my children (with my 2 oldest having graduated college). I’m also an ordained minister.
In the last 23 years, I've been a college student and I've taught at business school. I've operated programs that help people and I've been on food stamps. I've been in boardrooms, and I've had jobs digging graves and cleaning toilets.
I've learned that it takes a set of skills to survive struggle and an entirely different one to rise from it.
